Welcome Hey there, thanks for stopping by! Welcome to my little corner of the internet, my place to share my voice and photography. In case you don't know me, I am Sara (that's me to the left, the one without a big white furry coat). I am a photographer based in the San Francisco Bay area, California. I LOVE my work, and you will see a bit of that sneaking in here. I also use this as a place to share other parts of my life. You will find adventures, food and little tidbits about my life with my darling husband and our two fat cats.  Please feel free to have a look around and even leave me a note. I would love to hear from you!

The plan is, in about a week Charlie and I will be heading off to Italy. First stop: Venice. Thoughts of the romantic city and delicious food are beginning to fill my head. Yes, I am very excited to go. What a treat it was to be working on a job at Caffe Venezia in my last few days here in the Bay Area. Caffe Venezia is inspired by the fresh pasta shops of Northern Italy, and the food is A-Maz-Ing. At Jenn and Shane's wedding last year, Roger enjoyed the photographs so much that he asked if I could photograph the food and ambiance of his restaurant. Would I? Well, yes I would. I LOVE food photography and getting a job to photograph the delicious food of Caffe Venezia was wonderful, and timely.

Not only was the food fresh and delicious, but they were able to accommodate a gluten free meal, no problem. If you are in Berkeley (or even if you are not, it is worth the drive!) and you are looking for a great meal, friendly service and fun atmosphere, check it out. If you get a chance to swing by on the 17th of June you will also enjoy Opera Night at the restaurant.

Roger, thank you so much for inviting me to work with you. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

It was delicious!! One is a fish dish. The other is a prawn linguine. When they made mine they replaced the pasta with kale. So super yummy!
