Welcome Hey there, thanks for stopping by! Welcome to my little corner of the internet, my place to share my voice and photography. In case you don't know me, I am Sara (that's me to the left, the one without a big white furry coat). I am a photographer based in the San Francisco Bay area, California. I LOVE my work, and you will see a bit of that sneaking in here. I also use this as a place to share other parts of my life. You will find adventures, food and little tidbits about my life with my darling husband and our two fat cats.  Please feel free to have a look around and even leave me a note. I would love to hear from you!

While in Plettenburg Bay the boys took advantage of the warm waters to get in a little bit of surf skiing. Ryan brought over the skis and Jacobus and Charlie did their best to try to stay upright. I took advantage of the situation to perfect my sports photography. It was a bit tough going without my telephoto, but I made do.

Jacobus, excited about the prospect of getting some lekker waves. (Cape Town to California translation: Dude was looking for some hella cool waves.)

OK, so maybe the waves weren't exactly HUGE but at least he stayed upright.

Despite what is looks like, Ryan was actually trying to HELP charlie, not flip him over. Surf skis are known for their instability, as Charlie quickly learned.

Ryan, showing the fellas how it's done.

And finally, this is where they share their stories on how huge the waves were. Or, how many times they managed to tip themselves over in that wobbly boat.
